Our Tumble Dryers emit about a Tonne of CO2 per year, about the weight of a Giraffe. They're one of the most expensive appliances in the home.
If everyone in the UK hung their clothes out to dry, in the summer months alone, instead of using the Tumble Dryer, we'd save £375 million and 14 million tonnes of Carbon ... Or 14 million less Giraffe sized slabs of Carbon.
The How.
Let it all hang out … there's umpteen benefits …
More
If you hang your clothes up to dry, it'll take a little longer but there's umpteen benefits:
• Less CO2 being used, gaining you a high five from Mother Nature (much less Carbon Giraffes)
• Your clothes will last longer, gaining you a sexier wardrobe
• You'll not need to buy new clothes as often, gaining you a sexier bank balance
• Less clothes also means less production of clothes, gaining you a second high five from Mother Nature (or a High Ten in total)
