Get Your DIY On - Fix Broken Stuff.
What's It Worth? ...
200 Points

The Why.
UK Household waste weighs the same as the Great Pyramid of Giza x 4 …
More
Our household waste in the UK weighs over 26million tonnes a year, that's the equivalent of the Great Pyramid of Giza x 4.
Looking at just electrical equipment alone, 23% of it could be fixed (with a small amount of repair), and it could have gone on to live happily for many more years to come.
This costs the planet a bob or two as it adds to landfill and then replacements are produced. It also costs us a bob or two for the replacement.
The How.
Fix it, or learn to fix it, or give it to someone who loves to fix it …
More
You could fix it, if you know how … if you don't know how, you could either YouTube it and learn yourself a new skill or take it to a repair café (find your local on the link below)
Or, do you know someone who loves this sort of stuff, someone who can fix anything (or loves to at least try)
Either way, if it's broken, can you find a way to fix it?
